If Kubrick Had Directed the Moon Landing

This is an interesting video which depicts how the Apollo 11 moon landing might have been filmed if Stanley Kubrick had directed it. Kubrick, director of one of the most iconic and celebrated science fiction films of all time, 2001: A Space Oddysey,  used classical music for his space scenes which gave the film a timeless feel, although the music for the landing itself makes it seem very creepy.

There is a conspiracy theroy that Kubrick secretly directed scenes on Earth to simulate footage on the moon, so that NASA would have more to show the American people, a theroy explored in the documentary Room 237, a film about the hidden messages in Kubrick’s other well known film The Shining.

The link to the Cnet story about this film is HERE. Enjoy!
